Breaking: Trump Dropped The Hammer After Media Goes Too Far

The mainstream media is preoccupied with Russian interference in the presidential elections in 2016. However, President Donald Trump mocked the media in a series of tweets. According to him, Russian officials are laughing at the United States for the reports related to Russian meddling in the elections. Earlier, he said that this is an excuse made up by Democrats who can’t accept the fact that their candidate Hillary Clinton lost the elections.

“Russian officials must be laughing at the U.S. & how a lame excuse for why the Dems lost the election has taken over the Fake News,” Trump tweeted.

Trump last week lambasted the media for its chain of stories on Russia and other issues that are based on leaked information and anonymous sources.

Trump has steadfastly denied allegations that there was any collusion between his campaign and Russia, and has dismissed campaign-Russia connections as the explanation used by Democrats and much of the media for Hillary Clinton’s defeat.

However, the news media continue to probe for connections, most recently publishing a spate of stories alleging that Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and top adviser, sought to establish back-channel communication between the Trump transition team and Moscow.

The narrative has been disputed by Fox News, which Tuesday wrote that its sources told it that Russian officials were the first to suggest a secure line between the Trump administration and Russia. Trump shared that story on Twitter on Tuesday.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer refused Tuesday to indulge the media probing for information about what Kushner did or did not do.

“I would just say that Mr. Kushner’s attorney has said that Mr. Kushner has volunteered to share with Congress what he knows about these meetings, and he will do the same if he’s contacted in or — and connected with any other inquiry,” Spicer said.

“I’m not going to get into what the president did or did not discuss,” he added. “But what your question assumes is a lot of facts that are not substantiated by anything but anonymous sources that are, so far, being leaked out.”

Trump’s comments came in right after the media accused his son-in-law Jared Kushner of having connections with the Russians. The media really went too far. The fake news must be stopped!
