President Donald Trump’s sons share the same opinion when it comes to Russia- Trump investigation that is going on for a few months. They strongly criticized all the claims towards their father’s presidential campaign.
They also added that will be in front of their television on Thursday when James Comey, the former FBI director will speak up before the Senate Intelligence Committee. The truth will come out eventually so there is no space for worrying at this point.
On Monday, Eric Trump went out and said few things and defended his father.
The two Trumps, who now manage The Trump Organization and have done so since their father was inaugurated in January, told ABC News chief national correspondent Tom Llamas that they agreed with their father’s reference to the investigation “a witch hunt.”
“It’s the greatest hoax of all time,” Eric Trump said Monday. “I was there throughout the campaign. We have no dealings in Russia. We have no projects in Russia. We have nothing to do with Russia.”
Eric Trump said that despite the Justice Department’s decision to name Robert Mueller as a special counsel to investigate the campaign’s connections to Russia, the investigation has no basis in fact, only in politics.
“I mean, I really think they had to, optically,” he said. “But it is nothing more than a witch hunt. At the end of the day, I really believe nothing will come out of this in any way.”
The Trumps said the investigations are rooted in grudges from “holdovers” who remain in the executive branch.
“I definitely see a political establishment working to make it difficult for him to succeed,” said Donald Trump Jr. “But I don’t know enough about the details of Comey and what he’s gonna do there.”
“Are you satisfied with the team (the president) has around him right now?” Llamas asked
“You know, I am,” Donald Trump Jr. replied. “But uh — the immediate team. But I do think there’s plenty in D.C., there’s probably plenty still in the White House, there’s plenty of holdovers that aren’t necessarily working in his best interest.”
The Trumps agreed that they had had a visit from the FBI regarding cyberattacks, but said it had nothing to do with the political investigation of their father.
“Obviously, as a company in America, we’re susceptible like so many others to potential cyberattacks,” Donald Trump Jr. said. “And so that was the extent of what I can actually talk about. But it had nothing to do with the (Russia investigation).”
The Trumps also showed solidarity with their father in taking his part against London Mayor Sadiq Khan, whom the president criticized in some recent tweets for comments Trump interpreted as dismissive of the threat posed by terrorism.
Khan “should do something to fix the problem rather than just sit there and pretend there isn’t one,” Donald Trump Jr. said.
“This has become the new norm. And it’s not right. And we, as a society, especially as Americans, better do something about it,” Eric Trump said.
They do not remain loyal because he is their father. They remain loyal with a strong opinion on this because that is the truth. We all know this is a big hoax happening in order to take down President Trump.
